The special feature of this yarn is the mottled gray tone, which is created by combining 80 percent white and gray baby alpaca and 20 percent white organic merino wool. This creates the effect of a color gradient within the individual threads and very natural accents - similar to those of hand dyeing - can be achieved during dyeing. The result is a harmonious overall color concept with almost unlimited combination options.

Balayage is an excellent yarn for shawls and scarves, but of course it is also suitable for any other project such as sweaters and cardigans. Colored knitting patterns like Fair Isle can also be wonderfully implemented with balayage!

The mixture of delicate baby alpaca and fine merino wool makes balayage a yarn that is also well tolerated by sensitive people. Its softness also makes it suitable for direct skin contact and for baby or children's clothing.
